I like the concept, but its very hard to snap the lid closed and the mouth hole is large so if not clicked, there will be a big mess for a cup geared towards kids

The cup its self is a great concept the Lid however is very cheap. We need to slam it shut and even then it doesn’t stay closed for long. My 4 yr old is not strong enough to slam it shut so I have to do it cause if I don’t it will spill everywhere because it also does not have any type of stopper for it not to spill. My son used the cup for 2 days and we are no longer using is because of the hassle the lid it. It’s getting worse everytime we have to shut it.

My son likes this. I did not put batteries in it since I bought it as a school water bottle,so I can't comment on that. The problem is the pin in the hinge of the top. Its always sliding half way out and I have to open it line it up and push the pin back through.
