Expandable Hard Shell Anti-Theft Laptop Backpack – 15.6” Business Travel Bag with TSA Lock & USB Port

My high schooler got this for school. Upon recommendation from his trainer who said it was the best backpack he ever had! It’s super cool, has theft prevention (he wanted it to lock his stuff when he’s on the field. Hopefully it holds up, but it’s cool and TSA approved too!

The engineering is good but poor material used. Zipper did not last 8 moths and I only used the bag maybe weekly.

The padding on the bag is okay 3 out of 5. The size should’ve been bigger i thought . The quality, I was bummed with and honestly thought it would be better made . All in all for the money I spent on this, I could have gotten something a lot better. It performed liked any other bag, for me quality is important and that’s why I paid this much. Because I thought it was better made. Sorry if this review wasn’t want you hoped.

This is a really solid option from Fenruein, and I’m pleasantly surprised with all the features; however, it has some key issues with durability and functionality that make me question this bag’s longevity.Pros:-Great organization throughout! I love how many pockets this bag has in it. There’s a front organizational pocket, another sleeve like pocket in the main compartment, a laptop and tablet section along with a pocket on the laptop compartment strap where I can put a phone or a wallet! Also, it has two small pockets on the outside: one at the top and one underneath the luggage pass through strap.-Love the clamshell opening and the fact that it has a 180 degree opening in front and in back-Excellent amount of storage space where I could fit a week’s worth of clothing and essentials (minus a few items)-Comfortable to carry with a sternum strap-Fabric and design are futuristic yet understated enough for the office-Did I mention the double water bottle pockets, the charging port or the TSA lock yet? Gréât features!However, there are some key elements that make me question the longevity of this pack and may be a deal breaker…Cons:-Zippers need to be YKK aquaguard if you want the pack to be truly water resistant—the fabric is great, but I wouldn’t take this in the rain without a rain shield!-Why is the expansion in the laptop compartment?!? This doesn’t make sense to me…it should be in the main compartment because this forces me to take out my packing cube along with my laptop at the airport, which makes no sense to me.-There is no double stitching or reinforced seams on any part of this bag that I can find, so don’t overload your bag or it will probably break much faster…Fenruein, please reinforce the backpack straps AT LEAST on your next release-The lack of a rigid or semi-rigid frame sheet in the back means it’s uncomfortable to carry for long if you have a smaller laptop. Plus, it makes the bag floppy when it’s empty, which is also uncomfortable-TSA lock only works on laptop compartment-Please, please, please, put retractable key chain leashes in all your bags…your customers, like me, will thank you!-Water bottle pockets are really really small! I’d be okay with doing away with one water bottle pocket if you make a pocket that is slightly taller and wider—think Samsonite or The North Face for their water bottle pockets.-Finally, I need a side carry handle as well!After packing this out and walking around the house for a while, I think this is a solid entry-level option for hybrid travel or one bag travel since this costs less than $100. However, I’d happily shell out $150 or more if you make these improvements on an upgraded version of this bag, and I think others might agree! Bottom line: Go for it if you can get it for less than $80, and I’m sure you won’t be disappointed!

This a very nice back back .. it can be used casually as well as for traveling. Only problem is that the zip unzips if the back side is stuffed and it flips back from your shoulder.

I bought this Backpack a year ago. I love it. I travel often for work and is just perfect. The hard shell allows me to carry my handheld console without worrying.

My Fiance loves his backpack! He loves all the pockets and zippers. We have had it for 6 months now and no issues and no regrets.

I have been using this book bag for years now and I can’t say enough good things about it. While it’s not quite scratch resistant, I don’t even care. This bag has held up incredibly well under seriously trying conditions. I use it as my personal item on planes because it’s the perfect size and holds so much. It makes for a great foot rest at the airport and I can’t say enough step on it without breaking anything inside. The locking feature works great, zips flawlessly, and I never have to worry about anything breaking inside or pocket thieves. This bag has been through years in a FedEx truck, being thrown around, stood on and I still get compliments on it. I would buy this bag again if needed

I ride my Electric Longboard everywhere, and have had quite some major accidents. This backpack has saved my back at least 3 or 4 times now. I honestly don't think I could buy any other backpack, other than this one from now on.

This bag is my edc from the day I purchased it. The design is amazing and fits my techwear clothing very well. The front part is hard plastic and it can pick up some scratches and dirt, but doesn't affect overall look. I clean the front part time to time and it looks fantastic even after 3 months of heavy use. The laptop compartment has soft touch material and sliding laptop inside it is very satisfying everytime. All the extra pockets and all the hidden surprises in this bag just amaze me. It has become my Swiss army knife and I really cannot be more happy with it. Stitching and materials used are sturdy and feel high-quality. I've dropped this bag couple of times but this bag and everything inside it survived drops like a champ! The only problem I encountered, is that USB-C port has tight corners and you cannot fit most cables there.

Even with the expansion open, backpack was not large enough for our needs. But we really liked it - if you were traveling this would be a nice small medium backpack for a sweater, laptop, magazines, waterbottle and some snacks. I like the tsa lock but did not like that it was the combination was exposed - that is to say that if the lock was unlocked, any one walking by can see the combination as there is nothing covering it. Plus I’m not sure I would check the bag like at an airport either so the concept is good but I think reality is meh. But if u think u need the security, it seemed to lock well. The hard shell is nice and the design is fun. Straps were reasonable. I would recommend if you need security and a small medium size.

This is great the beck back pack I've ever had.

I've used this backpack everyday for half a year and there's no sign of any wear or tear (I've gone through 4 relatively quickly when I was in college). I've filled this backpack to the brim for when I travel (using the second zipper to increase capacity) and it hasn't struggled yet!

I was very satisfied with this purchase; this backpack provided every feature I was looking for. It's waterproof / resistant and it has an awesome storage compartment for clothes, and a separate one for my laptop. I needed a backpack that had a security feature and this product provided it in a way that makes sense. I have had it for about 3 months now and it has held up until recently when one of the zippers that attach to the lock mechanism popped off. Now I am stuck using on zipper and the security feature to lock the laptop compartment is useless. I changed my rating from three stars to four, due to the customer service, the were receptive of my feedback and stood behind their product by sending me another backpack.

Will updateUpdate: over a year later and it's holding strong. Great purchase, love this backpack.

Hard to lock

Get a lot of compliments for its unique look.Like the hard outer shell to protect what’s inside. Easily fits 15” or slightly bigger laptops. Overall a nice buy.

I've had this backpack for two months now and only used it a handful of times but I love it! It's quality and a lot of space. My only complaint with it is that I wish there was another layer to put stuff in or have another divider. Other than that I would definitely buy from this company again.

I love the bag. I dislike that it does scratch up easily and my charging port stopped working and I’m unable to reach out to the seller for some reason.

I was looking for something that can help me carry my work tool without being wrecked or disturbed. Bought some from different brands and it was a mess. This backpack has me not overthinking in what would happen. Great purchase ever.

My honest review completely worth the 80$ I spent, I also purchased a 4 year warranty for a few more bucks just in case so to be honest a bag pack this sturdy and durable can last longer than that as long as you keep up with ya know not tryna break it.

First impression…i love this bag. It’s beautiful, futuristic, and appears to be very functional and comfortable. Haven’t used it yet. Just opened the box moments ago, but I’m IMPRESSED. Watch my video review.

Comfortable, durable and good security. I was having some doubt on its built quality, but it is good and as expected. Suitable for daily use.
