Extra-Large 17″ Travel Laptop Backpack with USB Charging – TSA-Approved Business & Airline-Ready Backpack

I purchased this backpack almost 16 months ago. I received a gift card for my birthday and I really needed a backpack. I did my usual research and I found this backpack. This is the best backpack I've ever had. It's handled two trips through sky harbor airport, I took it camping, it is also my overnight backpack. I take it on every single trip we take. Whether it's overnight or a week. I can't say enough good things about it. It still looks as good as the day I got it. My husband needed a backpack and he purchased one. He absolutely loves it. If anybody needs a backpack, get this one. You will not be disappointed . There are so many compartments and pockets and you can even charge your phone or listen to your headphones. Whatever you want. You can carry your water with you it has a strap that keeps it in place. They have so many colors to choose from. I carry clothes. I carry my cell phone chargers and my charging bricks, and I also carry my fire HD tablet as well. You can believe this. If we need another backpack we are going to purchase the same backpack.

Really nice! Good quality, comfy on the shoulders. Adjustable. Lots of storage in this.Good value for the money.

I bought this back back in Nov of 2018, going on 4 years this bag has served as my daily work back pack and Travel carry-on bag. I will say for the $70 I payed for it, I have certainly got my moneys worth. However there are some things about the bag that I am displeased with as I will explain.

1) The bag is not rigid like the picture would suggest, when the bag is empty its is flat and will not stand up on its own

2) I like the idea of a lot of compartments but sometimes its hard to tell what compartment something is in and I end up opening up the wrong one looking for my gear

3) Unless your laptop is a chunker it will most likely not be really secure in the laptop pocket. Yes the Velcro strap is there but it leaves a lot to be desired in keeping devices from moving around.

4) Weight distribution, unless you have a heavy enough device in the pocket next to your back the backpack will pull and it can cause me lower back pain. I have a camera bag for my DSLR that holds 2 lenses as well which are not super heavy and if they are put in the bigger compartment the bag design just doesnt have enough support.

5) The pictures for the bag show a full compartment with towels and other garments, there is no way that zipper is closing on that bag.

6) the mesh side pockets do well to hold cans or bottles but larger bottles tend to get pushed up enough when set down that the bottle nearly falls out or does fall out when picking up my bag.

7) I feel that the USB slot makes this bag impossible to wash. I also hardly used it as there really isn't a great place for your battery bank in the compartment where the cable to the port goes.

8) Front Compartment, there is no rigidness to the back of the front compartment where you could store tools and keys. This can cause things stored in the compartment put pressure on USB's or HDD's that could break. The front flap is rigid so it adds more pressure to things if being pushed from behind.

9) Side pockets above mesh almost useless, if you put a charger or anything with some heft in the side pocket it will hamper your ability to use the mesh pockets. Also too deep for most people to reach in and retrieve things.

So these are the flaws, what makes this bag good? Why 4 stars if there are so many issues with this bag? Because after 30 thousand miles of travel minimum, this bag is only getting replaced because something more suited to my needs came along. This bag has held up extremely well with the amount of mileage it has seen. 10 different airports, hundreds of miles on trains and cars, this bag can take the daily abuse. So let me tell you what is good about this.

1) Plenty of space, I have taken this and one other carry-on for an entire 2 week trip to Europe and it had room for almost everything I needed to access on the flight easily.

2) Well made, minus a few places where daily use shows I would be confident taking this bag on a trip again and holding all my needs.

3) USB port. I know I didn't use it a lot but it is a nice thing to have if you are really on the go a lot and don't have access to a plug most of the day

4) Shoulder comfort. Its is more comfortable than most backpacks I have used and didnt chafe the neck and shoulder area like others have.

All in all would I recommend this bag? Yes, it will suit most peoples needs and stand the test of time. It would be on my list of ones to consider purchasing again if I needed to but as I have found something better suited to my needs I have to put mine into retirement for now. Who knows it may get use again that's how good it has been.

PUrchased for plane trip, was able to put plenty into the backpack. Fit under the seat of the plane with ease.

I walk about a quarter of a mile from my parking space to work every morning, and back every afternoon. I'm not a purse or shoulder bag person, and I like to carry just about anything I might need in an emergency with me. I also carry my breakfasts, lunches, work shoes, umbrella, and everything else with me on a daily basis.

This backpack is amazing. I wanted something with multiple pockets that would hold up well over time. The first version of this backpack lasted about a year before some damage started happening around the top handle. The plastic was splitting apart at the seams. I contacted the company, and they sent me a new one.

Usually when you get a replacement, it's just the same product, but these folks had made improvements to that exact part, and it's going to last a lot longer now. They reinforced the plastic with a backing of heavy duty strapping. The wear and tear will be on the strapping, which will probably wear out in about 30 years.

What I like: The heavy cable in the top handle. The rubber-ish handle protects your hands, but the actual cable is tougher than a lot of bicycle lock cables! The extensive amount of pockets: The only problem is remembering where you stashed something. The side pockets make it easy to get to certain things. The diagonal zippers on the side pockets make it really easy to unzip them. The straps are well padded. The interior pockets are also well placed. There is a TON of room in this, because it expands nicely depending on how much you pile in. The only improvements I would make: Put round plastic eyes at the end of each tightening strap, so that you can hook your fingers in them to pull the backpack tighter. Also, make the mesh pockets on the side a little taller. Other than that, this is an amazing backpack. My old one is now in my car as an emergency kit!

Long term review! I got this backpack for my husband back in spring of 2020. It’s been through 3 kids, holds everything he could ever need, takes it to work every day, the thing weighs probably 15 lbs, it’s seriously jammed full of stuff, and straps and zippers are still going strong after 5 years!

For the price, it's an excellent backpack. The laptop compartment might be a little tight, but if you adjust it, it's fine. Highly recommended, especially if you buy it on sale.

I bought this backpack shortly after I got out of the hospital for vertigo. I couldn't drive and for two weeks I was using a walker and a cane. I needed some way to carry my groceries from the store about 3/4 miles away.
First, the backpack seemed to be vacuumed sealed and once out of the plastic wrap it too a couple of minutes to pull it out into it proper shapes but that's a minor point.
Second, I was surprised to see how much room there was in the main storage pouch. There is a webbed netting sewn creating two small pockets for items like a portable power supply which connects to a USB cord connected to a plastic USB outlet on the right-side of the back pack.
Third, there are two small zippered pouches on the back. The upper pouch is bid enough to hold a cell phone or a small writing pad. The bottom pad is big enough to hold my iPad and its keyboard case.
Fourth, there is a webbed 6-inch pouch and an 8-inch zippered compartment on each side.
Fifth, the straps feel comfortable, are easily adjustable, and don't dig into your shoulders.
Sixth, the handle on top of the backpack make it easy to carry when not using the shoulder straps.
Overall, the backpack has a lot of room to hold things. When I went to the supermarket, I was able to lay four cans of vegetables in the bottom of the main pack, a large bottle of orange juice. a 1.2-gallon of milk, bananas, and a box of cereal. In addition, in the second compartment I was able to put my collapsible cane in it rather than having it in the shopping cart.
I haven't had this backpack but for short time for for someone who doesn't need a daily backpack, this one is definitely worth the money. I was in a Navy Exchange Sunday looking at backpacks which cost 2-3 times as much but didn't come close to having what this on has. In my opinion, this is definitely a bargain.

I call it my survival pack because it carries everything I need day to day. Lots of storage and comfortably fits the following:
15.6" laptop with its case
Baby wipes (like a 200 pack)
Whole change of clothes
35 pack of gum
Large phone sized portable charger, and all the cords go to with it
2 gaming controllers (goes with my gaming laptop)
Large stack of chipotle napkins (because why not grab a huge stack for free on your way out amirite)
Stack of maybe 15 chipotle forks (cuz why not)
40oz water bottle on the side, with a wraparound clip to keep it in place (with room for another on the other side for another)
Glasses case with cleaner and cloth
Deodorant for the long days
Tide stick for spills
Prescription pills (1 bottle but could hold like maybe 5 medium sized with everything else in the bag)
and STILL room for more

So yeah, this thing is more than worth the price. I've had it for over 2 years with near daily use and it doesn't show any sign of wear or collect stains. Haven't even needed to throw it in the washer or anything. Probably has another year or multiple of daily use. If I would've known all this when I bought it, I would've happily paid $50+ for it. So being on sale for under $25 as of writing this review is an absolute STEAL. I can't say enough good things about it to justify the value I've gotten out of it. I will buy this again when its time.

Bought this backpack in April 2022 I strictly use this bag for work laptop and accessories. I recently traveled with it about 5 domestic trips and stayed noticing things break or tear. My last bag from Walmart lasted over 6 years and I still use it for more personal use.

A good bag but stitching may need to be reinforced.

This backpack is large but travels well thru airports, nice quality and air fare has held up well

Perfect fit for the urban environment. Strong vinyl, waterproof, sturdy. Multiple pockets, with certainly enough room and capacity for a laptop and a change of clothes.

got this for grandson for school. poor kids have to carry so much stuff. surprised they are not getting back problems. anyways well made and lasted well. got two years out it, used 5 days a week

A good travel backpack is lightweight, comfortable, and well-organized, perfect for carrying your essential belongings during your adventures. It should have padded straps, multiple compartments for organizing clothes and gadgets, and water-resistant material to protect what's inside.

Second one we ordered in 5 years because he loved it too much! Lasted junior high, high school, and into college. He could fit everything and it was waterproof and accessible with all the compartments. The only thing is the water bottle netting could be a tiny bit bigger. Love it overall!

This has been my go to backpack for the past year. I carry it almost daily. I’m sad to say that, almost a year to the day, from purchasing it… it’s tearing up and the buckle for adjusting the straps, literally broke off while I was traveling. Now I see why they offer the 2-yr warranty. But, who would think you need that on a product that’s being used according to description. It’s never been stuffed even close to capacity, except for the 2 trips I have gone on and used it as a carryon. But it DID NOT have as much in it as the picture used in the product description. I would say it’s a product flaw. My husband had the same backpack and it didn’t last a year either.

If you are looking for a multi-functional backpack that holds a lot of stuff and is easy on the back, this backpack is for you. I found it to be extremely comfortable, and I am a 72 year old male. I recently used it as a carry-on piece of luggage for a cross-country plane trip. Since it has a strap to attach it to a rollable piece of luggage, it made the trip to and from the airport using an Uber vehicle easy as pie. If I ever have the need for another backpack, I would not hesitate to make this purchase again.

We bought this backpack for both of our teens, who were at “no locker” schools. They had to carry it ALL with them: computer, texts, sports gear. This backpack was big enough to accomodate. But does it last? Not really, structural failures all over the place: the handle on top (went quickly—repaired w duct tape), torn through partitions, zippers malfunctioning, torn water bottle sleeve…. Some of these failures happened bc the backpack is so big… it’s tempting to load it up too full. I have to make a choice now: do I replace with this one again (which had features that were a hit, but for the longevity) or do I go back to LLBean? We have LLBean backpacks that have withstood abuse So Much Longer…!
