I brought the teal pen to work today after they came in yesterday. After an hour of using it, the tip was covered in ink. I cleaned it off and within a few minutes it had leaked again, it exploded ink onto my hands and all over the barrel. Of course I didn’t take a photo of that, this is definitely a bummer bc they write so well, since the explosion the pen is skipping. I’m a nurse and I had high hopes for these pens., thankfully I have to wear black scrubs. Tried contacting writech, but after not being able to get on their website, it wasn’t worth it. Still debating on whether to return them or stick it out.

I tried to reaching out to customer service, I wanted to reach out regarding an issue I’ve been experiencing with the Writech Morph gel pens.I really enjoy using your pens—they write smoothly and are very comfortable to use. However, I’ve now purchased three separate sets, and I’ve consistently run into the same problem: the ink seems to leak or “explode” from the pen.I’m not doing anything unusual in terms of use—I simply open and close the pen and keep it in my scrub pocket. Unfortunately, I’ll go to use it and find that the ink has leaked, sometimes significantly, which has also stained my scrubs. This has happened with every Morph gel pen I’ve purchased so far.I’ve attached a photo of the most recent pen that leaked today for your reference. I wanted to check if this might be a manufacturing defect, or if there’s something I may be doing incorrectly when using or storing the pens.I’d really appreciate any guidance you can provide. I truly like these pens and would love to continue using them if this issue can be resolved.

The Morph Extendable Gel Pens are unlike anything I've seen before. The design is pretty smart and I like being able to see the mechanism move while extending and allowing the pen to retract. The colors the pens come in are nice and pretty to look out while allowing the exclusive look at how the pen works. Once it extends, it locks into place and stays there until you push it back together. It has not collapsed on itself even one time while I was using it. I also like that there are refills for the pen because I use it quite a bit. I'm interested to know how easy it is to change the ink in the pen when the time comes. The gel in the pen is very much smooth and dark in color. Even from the first time I wrote with the pen, it didn't studder, there is not dry feeling to the ink, and the flow is consistent. I have found myself sticking the pen in my pocket on several occasions and have looked forward to using it to write notes, write down scriptures in church, or sign withdrawal and deposit slips at the bank. It has been a pleasure to use the Writech Morph Extendable Gel pens and I look forward to continuing to do so.

I really like this WRITECH Morph Extendable Gel Pen set!!Here’s what I enjoyed:*I like the fidgety aspect of this mostly because I like mini things and like the fact it’s adorable and practical.*The flow is incredible (like every WRITECH pen I’ve ever experienced).*The ink is a proper dark black!*Nice medium thick lines making my work look crisp and stand out brilliantly..*I love the colors and the entire look.*The clip works well, holds a page snugly.*Nice that once it’s open that retracts the pen!*There’s a window and when you pull the pen to the full length you can watch the inside spin-like a sort of barber pole effect.*The grip is grippy, nice and comfortable.*A satisfying quiet click when retracting and expanding.*Two refills!!*When the ink is dry if you have a spill this barely smudges (yeah, I’m weird, I test that).*Zero smudges with my darkest wet highlighter.*As seen in my pics.This is a wonderful set and it’s neat, exactly what I enjoyed about well made stationary products! This review is for the WRITECH Morph Extendable Gel Pens: 0.7mm Medium Point Black Ink Pocket-to-Full-Size Design Translucent Soft Grip Barrel Includes 2 Pens and 2 Refills Dual-Length Pocket Pen 4.6" to 6.1”. I’ve always been impressed with Writech pens and this doesn’t disappoint. I like how it’s compact and you extend to write. Being compact, it goes nicely into my satchel purse. The ink writes smoothly on paper as it glides on. The barrel of the pen has a smooth grip that feels nice and comfortable to write. This duo set also comes with 2 additional refills which is great as this will last me awhile. The color of the ink comes in black, while the outer color of the pens at light blue and pink. Overall, Writech pens are one of my favorite pens. They write smoothly, have a comfortable grip and don’t smear. They have a light feel to them making journaling easy for anyone! Would highly recommend.

All of my experiences with Writech pens before now has been with fountain pens. This is the first time I have worked with a gel pen from them, and it has been a good experience so far. These pens are unlike any other I have used, in good ways.These are interesting pens. They travel like pocket pens but they extend as full-sized ones. The mechanism is a sliding barrel, and when pulled out it clicks into place. I like that they’re semi-transparent, so you can see how they work. When they are collapsed into the pocket pen size, the point is retracted and protected, which in turn protects your pocket.For all plastic pens, these actually are pretty solid in the hand. They don’t feel cheap but rather have a good hand feel to them. I like the rubberized grip, too, which makes writing less fatiguing.They lay down smooth, clean lines and so far I have not had problems with skips and globs. When used up, there are two refills in the package. There are also refills available online when it’s time to buy more.I like these pens. They fit in practically any pocket, they extend to a normal sized pen when in use, and they feel good in the hand. Aside from the coolness factor, this is a set to consider if you like pocket pens.

Super smooth writing. This is my first time trying a Writech pen. I don't usually go for a 0.7mm since I like to write tiny, but I'm going to be on the look out now for some of their fine points to see if they can get the same feel.Excellent black, matte and very dark. Very close to some fineliners or permanent markers, but unlike a marker it will smear until dry. Takes 4-5 seconds to dry for most lines, maybe up to 10 for direction changes where the ink blobs a bit.The collapse design looks cool, and I like how the ink barrel spins inside. I don't like that it needs two hands. At least I couldn't find a smooth method to open it with one hand. Closing it has similar problems, but I found sticking the tip in a spiral or paper hole lets you collapse it without getting ink on stuff or pressing on the ball point.The mechanism locks open firmly enough. Never had it collapse unless I didn't pull it all the way out.The rubber grip area is about 10.5mm diameter, and the main body is 13.2mm. Weighs 16g.

The pastel colors are really pretty—soft but still vibrant enough to stand out.They extend easily into a full-size pen, which is a really cool feature. The only thing I noticed is that they’re slightly thicker than a typical pen, and depending on how you hold your pen, it can affect how well it stays locked open. With my grip (which isn’t exactly the “proper” way I was taught in school), I found that I sometimes push it back down and unlock it while writing. When I adjusted my grip, though, it stayed extended much better—so this may not be an issue for everyone.The ink quality is exactly what I expect from this brand—a true black in a 0.7 mm tip that’s perfect for journaling or note-taking. It writes smoothly and looks great on paper. If you swipe your finger over it immediately after writing, it can smudge slightly, but if you give it just a couple of seconds to dry, it holds up perfectly. I had no issues with smearing during normal use.Overall, this is a really nice set of travel-friendly pens. They’re cute, functional, and write beautifully. I also appreciate that they come with extra refill cartridges, which adds to the value. Just keep in mind the locking mechanism may depend on your grip style—but even then, they’re still very usable.

This feels like a cheap pen. You do get two for the price, but these should be half the cost despite the refills.These do come with refills, and they do write smoothly without smudging, but they are very lightweight, and I was hoping for more heft for something in this price point. The feel of the pen is smooth.These are half the size of a normal pen when collapsed, and they extend to full pen size. You need to give a little twist to "lock" it open, but it's not the strongest lock.The biggest issue is that these collapse half the time when I try to write. My hand also has to hold them just where the smaller end (the tip) telescopes back into the larger end, and that is very uncomfortable and awkward. It's a nice concept, but if they want a collapsing pen, they should have had the separation point higher up the shaft and had the the back end of the pen collapse, and not the front end.I do like the width. After a lifetime of working with my hands, I just can't hold smaller pens. To prevent them from collapsing when I write, I have to hold it below the break on the smaller end; it would have worked better for me at the thicker end.And because people seem confused about how to open the pen to replace the cartridge, the very tip where the ink comes out, screws off. (see photo). I had to figure that out on my own.Three stars because though the pens write well and they come with refills, using them is a little obnoxious, and I'll only ever use them as a last resort... so I guess that works for a purse pen. For the price point, I expected better. These fall firmly in the "Meh" range for me. - Nice concept - bad execution.
