This carry-on backpack surprised me with how much it holds. The expandable 40–50L capacity is perfect for 3–5 day trips, and my 17.3-inch laptop fits securely. It’s water resistant, well organized, and great for business travel or weekend flights. Very solid build for the price.

Light weight travel backpack. We are leaving on vacation in a couple of months so I'm starting to prepare. It is well made and I really appreciate the pockets, and with a USB cable port .

This backpack offers a very practical mix of travel capacity and everyday usability, with the expandable 40–50L design making it easy to switch between daily commuting and longer trips. The dedicated 17.3-inch laptop compartment opens wide and provides good padding, and multiple interior pockets help keep clothes, tech, and toiletries organized instead of getting lost in one large compartment.​

Comfort is solid for the size: the padded shoulder straps and ventilated back panel help distribute weight reasonably well, and the luggage strap on the back is convenient for sliding over a suitcase handle. The water-resistant fabric and sturdy zippers feel durable enough for regular use, and the external cable access/USB-style port is handy for charging devices from a power bank while on the move.​

A few trade-offs keep it at four stars. Fully expanded and heavily packed, it can feel a bit bulky on smaller frames, and the weight is noticeable on long walks. The shape is more boxy than streamlined, so it favors function over a slim profile. Overall, though, it is a very capable carry-on and weekender backpack that works well for business trips, college, or short getaways, provided you are comfortable with a larger, structured bag.

I got this for my partner because he’s been traveling with a broken-strap backpack for way too long, and this one is already a huge upgrade. It’s a great weekend or small-trip bag, and I love that it opens completely like a suitcase, which makes packing and unpacking so much easier. The 50L capacity is no joke — it fits a ton — but what’s even better is that you can tighten the compression straps on the sides and make the whole thing much slimmer when you don’t need all that space. There are an insane number of pockets inside and out; every time we unzipped something, we found another pocket we didn’t expect. My partner really likes that it has a front chest strap because it keeps the weight from pulling on his shoulders when he’s walking around. The backpack straps themselves are nicely padded, and it also has a strong side handle if he ever wants to carry it more like a duffel. The laptop compartment is big enough to fit his 17-inch laptop with no problem, and it feels well-padded all around. Inside, the straps help keep clothes in place so things don’t shift around while traveling. The bag feels durable, the zippers run smoothly, and it doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy at all. I guess we will see how it holds up! Overall, it’s a super practical, roomy, comfortable carry-on bag, and honestly, I wish we had replaced his old one way sooner.

This backpack is well made and surprisingly lightweight. It fits my thin 17-inch laptop without any problem and still has room for chargers, notebooks, and daily essentials. I bought this bag to be a weekend travel bag. I have used it once so far. The bag is simple and doesn’t have lots of compartments which prevents losing items in the bag. The bag easily expands to the largest size. The price was the biggest selling point. I complaints.

This is a pretty well-made bag! Plenty of room for several days of travel and expands when you need it. Great value at this price as well.

At first glance, the backpack looks compact, but once you unzip the expansion, the space really opens up. I was able to pack for a 3–5 day trip without any issues. The material feels durable and water resistant, and the zippers are smooth,very nice quality. I use it mostly as a weekend travel backpack and carry on backpack for flight , and it does the job well for the price.

The best way to describe this backpack is as a carry-on sized luggage bag. It has all of the compartments that I would expect in a traditional checked bag or suitcase. There are tiedowns for clothing, a zippered area for toiletries, and a zippered area for used clothes. That is on the main compartment (see photos). There is a separate compartment in the back suitable for iPads and smallish laptops up to about 15 inches. It doubles as a backpack with water bottle holder on the side. I could see myself using this regularly for air travel where I’m trying to avoid checking bags. This plus the little back to stick under a seat is a great solution. I can easily pack a weeks worth of clothes and toiletries between the two and still have room for a travel, laptop or iPad. lastly, there are enough exterior straps to carry and attach this bag in any conceivable orientation or two any kind of carrier.

I haven’t taken this on a trip yet, but after spending some time loading it up and checking everything over, I do have a solid first impression. Particularly for the price point.

The shape is closer to a rectangular laptop backpack rather than a hiking pack, so it collapses flat but doesn’t fold in on itself. It doesn’t feel bulky, and the expansion zipper is a nice touch. You can open it up when carrying clothes or gym gear, then zip it back down to use it more like a normal backpack once you reach your destination or office. The front compression straps add an extra layer of security in case a zipper ever works loose.

Zippers are smooth and feel durable, and the stitching looks clean and reinforced in the important areas. The suitcase-style opening looks very practical for packing and organizing compared to top-loading bags.

For tech storage, it has two padded slide-in sections in the front for a laptop or tablet, while the back panel spacing adds additional protection. The USB pass-through is a rubber port with the standard slit design, which should hold up fine over time.

The shoulder straps feel durable but are not overly plush, so they may not be ideal for long hikes, but that’s not really what this bag is meant for. The back has mesh padding, though I haven’t had warm-weather use yet to judge airflow.

Based on handling and packing it, I would trust this as a carry-on travel bag, but I probably would not check it as luggage. Overall it appears thoughtfully designed and well built so far.

Sturdily constructed. For game night, holds a lot: 2 full size boxes of large imprint Rummkub, snacks, Bose speaker, with plenty of room to spare. Puffy material with the ability to make the compartment bigger if needed. Lots of zipper storage areas. Durable shoulder straps.

I grabbed this travel backpack / carry-on for my partner because I was tired of him using all of my bags when we go on trips! And with a trip planned for Christmas week, I thought this would be the perfect opportunity for him to get his own big boy bag. Straight out the gate, I was highly impressed with how large and durable this bag is. It is very nicely made and has plenty of storage. It has an expandable option so it gives you an extra couple inches of space and there are tons of pockets. There is a place to carry a laptop computer or tablet if you wish. There are all kinds of straps and doodads to strap it to yourself or a larger suitcase. Another nice touch is this bag is made to fit in the overhead compartment on an airplane so you can use it as a carry-on. It is definitely large enough to be used for a short trip, I would say about 2 or 3 days worth of clothing will fit in here. Currently this bag is priced at $39.99, or $31.99 with a coupon. I would say that the price is definitely fair for a bag of this quality and would definitely recommend it to anyone it was tired of their man stealing their bags too! 🤣

Operates like a suitcase, travels like a backpack. As a backpack, the straps and padding are fantastic. Super comfortable shoulder straps, padded mesh areas by your lower back and even by your shoulder blades. Chest strap to help with the pack weight. A couple amazing handles — padded and thick, so they won’t dig into your hands. Straps to tighten up the load and take pressure off the zippers. Straps inside to secure items. Pockets and compartments galore. Some incredibly thoughtful details. Details that are rarely on a backpack.

Many of those details are definitely like suitcase details, but the zippers tell that story too. Most backpacks open from the top, while most suitcases hinge on the long side. This pack hinges on the long side. Not too difficult to get used to except for accessing the laptop. The laptop pocket is vertical but the access panel is hinged like a suitcase. Definitely not a deal breaker. It really is a phenomenal backpack. Perfect for a 2-3 business trip where you need the computer and plenty of clothing space but loathe carrying a bunch of bags around. This bag is ideal.

I’m including pictures of my large laptop (wide with a keypad) and see it disappear nicely into this bag.

Great bag, perfect for my "no checked in luggage" trips. good storage and organization for all of my needs and plenty of room to be my 3 - 5 day trips. Zippers are nice, the straps are adequate, i'd say my biggest complaint, is that it is a little heavy. but i guess protections comes at a cost.

This is one versatile carry on bag.

Has so many zippered pockets, you will have a hard time finding everything you stuff in it. Setup to be carried by a cushioned handled on the side or on the top as well as backpack straps for your back.

Easily will fit as an airplane carry on or for a weekend trip in the car. Nice feature to have is that it is expandable with a zipper that grows the bag by around 2.5-3" which increases the carrying volume significantly. Great to add the things you purchased on the weekend trip!

Has a little rubber grommet to run a charging cable to if you put a battery pack in the bag so you can charge your phone or ipad as needed.

All in all, a handy travel bag that looks great and has lots of features.

I’ve been using this backpack for commuting and short trips, and it’s been very comfortable to wear even when fully packed. The straps feel supportive, and the back padding helps during longer days.
