Pencils are great, great company. The pencil case is not as advertised, I specifically wanted the one that was in the item description photos. I did get all of the items that were supposed to be in the set, all in good condition.

I received a set of pencils just in a regular case, not the flip-top one advertised, which is the main reason I bought this. Still three stars because I did receive the eraser and sharpener, and staedtler is my favorite brand of drafting pencils

Staedtler equals quality. Much nicer than cheap unknown “brands “. Worth the little bit more $. This nifty box stands up! Convenient. I do so PREFER a tin box (see photo) - price same! NOTE: this plastic box contains a DIFFERENT palette than tin box. DOES IT REALLY MATTER???The photo sharpener DID NOT ARRIVED : a diverse ugly turquoise instead.

I bought these in order to measure the hardness of lead projectiles I have cast. Using a hardness chart it is easy to use these pencils to determine an approximate Brinell number rather than invest in a mechanical hardness gauge.

I bought these for a gift. I am familar in their products, so I picked this out.

So the pencils alone, FANTASTIC! Sharpener is good! However, when I received the package, there was a tear along the plastic, and the eraser was missing. I left the company an email and they replied stating that they only replace items if it’s a manufacture defect and I should contact the seller. When I click the return tab through , it suggests I call/email the manufacturer. It’s basically a circle of “contact this” to “contact this” but no actual resolution besides returning everything. I did not return the whole thing because of the one missing item (I did not think returning the whole thing was the best solution because one small item was missing wasn’t a MAJOR issue) but the fact getting the missing item replaced is an issue that needs some revision.

As other reviewers also write, the sharpener that I got was different from the one from the picture. Not only the color but also the shape are different. Also, the wrapping was terrible, and the items were covered with sticky tapes. But I think this set itself is very good, and the price is reasonable.

The sharpener I got looks a bit different and isn't as tall. Also the hinge on the cap for it was broken, but it still snaps closed so not a huge problem. It sharpens well and is easy to use.The pencils and eraser are as described. Overall, I think it's a decent deal and I'm happy.
